- Have you ever wondered how lighting forms and how it works
- In a storm cloud the warm air rises and the cool air sinks, and the cold air is filled with different types of frozen water that picks up electrons from the rising air. Causing the bottom of the cloud to be negatively charged.
- Therefore driving away the negative charges in the ground, and now making the ground positively charged. Because opposites attract once the cloud has gathered enough electrons the two will meet each other. The electrons will make the protons flow upward. Making an electric connection, and what we see as lighting is the electric discharge.
- And the lightning is going to occur where the ground is closest to the sky like that tall building.
