- The young man tries to offer "Norma" the flowers, but she will not take them. He realizes that it is not the Norma he expected her to be.
- How come you never look that way anymore?

- The young man takes out a hammer and murders "Norma." This was now the 6th time he had done it.
- The young man, in his bloody suit, passes a middle-aged married couple. They recognize his look and feeling of love.
