- Did you know that church burnt down and was actually rebuilt? Cathy was talking about the church and how Ponyboy saved these kids there.
- Exposition
- “You are invited to Cathy Carlson and Ponyboy Curtis’ wedding!Location: Church on Jay Mountain near Windrixville Time: 9 AM”
- Rising Action
- Here comes the bride….
- Oh, so that’s how Cathy looks like now. How long has it been? Looks like she’s doing good.
- Bryon runs into MM at the shop that was created after the bar was gone. MM talks to Bryon about Cathy, Ponyboy, and the church.
- Climax
- Mark? Is that you?
- Bryon is going through his mail when he finds the wedding invitation. He is reading over the wedding information.
- Falling Action
- I accept your apology. It took me a long time to forgive you but now that I’m here I’m glad I forgave you.
- You don’t know how much pain I was in after that last meeting.
- Bryon is at the wedding watching Cathy be escorted by Mr. Carlson. Across the aisle is Angela which Bryon notices that she kept her short hair. He even notices that it seems like she has come to peace with Ponyboy now.
- Resolution
- I’m so glad for all of this. Things sure have changed, but it’s ok. Change is normal and changes are always happening.
- Bryon is about to leave after staying behind. Bryon then meets Mark after a long time. Bryon can’t not believe that Mark is there as he has not heard or seen from him ever since the last visit.
- Bryon breaks down and starts crying and apologizes for the past. While, Mark forgives him.
- I was so scared of you after that! I am so sorry Mark!
- Bryon is going to sleep, feeling happier and lighter than ever. As he is finally forgiven.
