- Egypt

- Pharoah led Egyptian to dread the Israelites and worked them ruthlessly.
- A Hebrew man named Moses went to were his own people were and saw them suffering. He witnessed an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people and killed him.
- I could not bare witness to someone hurting one of my own. It was necessary that he die.
- Thank you so much Sir for saving my life!
- Moses returned back to his home land and was then spoken to by God. God wanted moses to return to Egypt and save the Israelites.
- “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians. So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”
- Moses set off to Egypt to free the Israelites from Pharoah. God casted plagues on all of Egypt. The ten plagues were water turning to blood, frogs, lice, flies, livestock pestilence, boils, hail, locusts, darkness and the killing of firstborn children.
- What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
- Moses and the Israelites fled from Egypt but were stuck a the Red Sea with the Egyptians close behind them. Moses decided to look to God for guidance.
- Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you only need to be still.
- Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die?
- Moses had rescued the Israelites from Egypt and they had began their journey. They setup a camp near the mountains where Moses was summoned by God to receive the Ten Commandments
- I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
