- Good morning class, today we will tackle the history of baking. Last week, I told you to research how baking started as your assignment and performance for today. Let's start. Are you all ready for your group discussion?

- Baking industry was brought to America during the 19th century wherein facilities and baked products saw improvements bigger and more efficient ovens were built.
- It came with more sophisticated oven and much bigger oven made of thicker adobe bricks during 1000 B.C. in Romans. They used the hourglass but they utilized wind and water to move it.
- But then, during the Huns invasion of Northern Europe, it became a forgotten occupation. But after, farmers were encourage to grow grains where baking became honored profession and baker's were recognized.

- Now, baking products improves and develops from its texture to its creative design through the help of technology. Modern day baking is mostly dependent on machines like ovens. These high-tech machines have made the baking process easier, efficient, and they produce million of products with more quality.
