- The Nazis invade Denmark and terrorize the Jews.
- Resolution
- When the Nazis stop Annemarie and they let the dogs eat most of the food that she was going to bring to Uncle Henrick.
- When Uncle Henrick gets the handkerchief and uses it to fool the dogs.
- The war ends 2 years later, and most of the Jews were taken to Sweden.
