- Mayas were one of the most powerful empires at their time.
- Mayan empires were great farmers and could build many temples. They owned over 4,000 temples.
- Mayan empires would use hundreds of symbols or glyph's.
- Mayans were very skilled astronomers. They would use a calendar that had 260 days for religion but use a 365 day calendar for farming.
- Mayans would use tools made out of obsidian to make sculptures and buildings.
- Mayans sadly came to an end when they had overpopulated and had not enough resources and supplies.
