  • I was not stealing from the company Ms. Adams, I just forgot to put the tool back in its place as it was a busy day and it was already close to closing time.
  • Ms. Adams, I believe you were too harsh with your decision. The employee claims it is the first time she is being deciplined but you served her with a final warning.
  • Top management takes theft very seriously especially if it involves staff members.
  • It is still not okay to suspend an employee on her first disciplinary, the top management knows that falls under Unfair Dismisals of the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995.
  • It would be better if I set up a meeting with the Top management so we can discuss this matter further, I will inform you of the response.
  • Do not worry mam I'll meet up with other shop stewards and we will find a way to get you back to work.

  • Lihle attends a meeting with the manager in the presence of the shop steward. In the scene we see Lihle pleading with Ms. Adams to reconsider her decision.
  • I'm glad I bumped into you guys, I just got off the phone with managment and they have set up a meeting for next week.
