- The younger son spent all his money foolishly, living wildly, and committing sins.
- A severe famine began, and he had no money, so he was forced to take a job feeding pigs.

- I should return to my father and ask to be one of his hired hands, I am no longer worthy to be called his son.

- But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.
