- well, I finally know that the atoms are the smallest unit of anything in the universe and cannot be divided further. I now also know that atoms cannot be created or destroyed. did you know that atoms of different elements have different masses.

- HI! My name is John Dalton. I was wondering what atoms are ??? I want to learn about them.
- Ha! Guess what, atoms do have sub atomic particles. i just discovered a negatively charged particle, called an electron. I just found out that electrons are spread in the atom. my model kinda looks like a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream. lets call it the plum pudding model.

Here's what i discovered: a atom has a positive particle called proton the positive charge is clustered in the center of the atom in a bundle called the nucleus. the number of protons and electrons are the same in a atom.
