- John Fitch saw the smoke from the factory, and thought about what else it could do.
- I wonder what else the steam could be used for?
- After leaving the factory, he passed by the steam engine that somone he knew built.
- Steam power is used in the engine, it uses steam to power the engine.
- Speaking of him, I think he got his patent recently. A patent is where no one else can use or make the steam engine agian.
- James Watt created a marvolous steam engine.
- John though of an idea for steam usage.
- I can ask Mr.Watt about my idea.
- What if I could use a steam engine in a boat?
- These boats are great and all, but maybe they could be better.

- John walks to James house, and see him already leaving,
- John talked to James about his idea.
- So you like the engine dont you.
- So I had an idea revolving around your steam engine.

- John Fitch, with the help of James. Made the Steam Boat.
- Its marvelous, my idea will be a reality! Thank you so much Mr.Watt.
