- Valentina, nicknamed Tina, and Sophia are hanging out at Sophia's house. "Hey! I have an idea!" Tina says suddenly. "Let's steal your brother's stuff!"
- Decide and act
- "I don't know," Sophia answers. "I need to think about it." Sophia wants to explore the options and consequences. If she did steal her brother's stuff and never gave it back, he would be upset and she might get in trouble. If she stole it and gave it back, he could still be a little bit upset. And if she didn't steal his stuff at all, her friend would be dissapointed, but her brother wouldn't be.
- Evaluate the results
- "Come on!" Tina says. "It'll be fun!" "I don't think so," Sophia says. "I care most about my family, peace, and what's right."
- End
- "I don't think we should steal stuff," Sophia says. Tina pouts. "You're no fun," She says. "How about we play Clue instead?" Sophia offers. Tina immediately brightens. "Yeah!"
- Later that day, Sophia thinks about her decision. Her brother had overheard the whole conversation and took her to eat ice cream as a prize for making a good decision, and Tina wasn't very upset either, after they played 4 games of Clue.
