- "The Greeks need a chance to rest, for they are weary with fighting".(Iliad 142)
- "so that wide-ruling Agamemnon will realize how blind he was when he dishonored the of the Greeks."(Iliad 143)
- "Man-slaying Hector approached and drove his spear clear trough Patroclus's stomach."(Iliad 144)
- Patroclus convinces Achilles to use his armor and lead the myrmidons into battle against Troy
- "As he moaned is grief, silver-footed Thetis appeared before him."(Iliad 145)
- Patroclus wearing Achilles armor pushes Trojans from the Greeks and back to Troy.
- "Often the long-haired Greeks have criticized me, even though i was not at fault."(Iliad 146)
- After Patroclus pushes Trojans away and pushing them back Troy, Hector finally kills him.
- "They were running to see who would win Hector's life!"(Iliad 147)
- As Achilles mourns in Patroclus death and is determined to kill Hector.
- Achilles and Agamemnon finally settle their difference and Achilles shows his amazing skill in battle.
- Hector flees from Achilles wrath and Achilles chases him around the walls of Troy.
