- Hello my names is Caitlan smith. I live with my dad and my older bother Devon, my mom died after she was born.
- WHY?!
- Caitlin smith is a 10-year-old girl with Asperger's syndrome which means it's really hard for here to understand emotions. because Caitlin acts "wired" no one wants to be her friend. Caitlin's older bother Devon helps her understand emotions.
- How do get closure?
- There was a shooting at the middle school were Devon was at he was killed the tried to save him but it was too late. The shooter at the school little cousins is in the same grade as Caitlin. his name is Josh and Caitlin hates him.
- Hi. I'm Michael
- When the got home everything fell apart! Caitlin's Dad when crazy hitting the wall and screaming "why" Caitlin didn't understand what happen! she didn't know how she felt! All these old family members came over to try to help Dad and Caitlin. But nothing worked.
- Caitlin's dad wanted Caitlin to go to consoling. So she goes to consoling to learn about emotions and deal with Devon's death. Caitlin is social acwared and has no friends, she is going to middle school next year and she needs help making friends. She also just leard a word call clouser and she thinks its something you can get. So she wants to "get" clouseser so that her and Dad fell better.
- At recess she met a little old boy named Michael. His mom also died in the shooting at the school. She was with Devon. Michael and Caitlin both want to "get" closure. Later Catlin finds out that the school bully, Josh. Is the little cousin to the school shooter that killed Devon. Caitlin Doesn't want Josh to hurt her new friend Michael so she try's to keep Josh far away from Michael but little dose she know that this won't be easy.
- After many weeks of learning to be a friend and trying to understand emotions Caitlin thinks she knows a way to "get" closure she talks it with Dad but he just gives her more bad news.
