- I will be discussing what my discourse community is, the modes of communication that we use, and what are the lexis we use
- Hello, my name is Altisha and my discourse community is my internship...
- As soon as the bell ring for 8th period, my classmates and I go to sign out on a form, given by my teacher, in order to go the the internship
- I wait for my Uber to show up, then I make sure that its the Uber that I ordered, then I enter it and start going to my destination.
- I wonder when my Uber is going to pick me up... I should also go to McDonald's to stop for lunch if I'm early
- I place my order for lunch at McDonald's, then I eat my lunch
- After eating lunch, I start walking to my internship location, which is about 5 minutes away
- I get to my internship on time, and my and my other classmates attending the same internship waits until our Internship provider gives us tasks to complete.
- Usually my tasks are doing administrative work in the office, which I use the computer for, to doing things such as Patient Intake Forms
