- hey honey, i have noticed your grades have been slipping a little bit are you doing okay?
- I'm sorry to hear that. I think it would be best if we went to the doctor and get you checked out.
- Well, i haven't really been wanting to do anything and i feel really depressed.
- So, what's brings you in here today?
- thank you.
- We're going to order you some medication and you should be able to pick it up tomorrow.
- We have your tests back and it did show you have depression which is really common in teens your age.
- Thank you mom i really appreciated you taking me to get help. Hopefully I start to feel better
- Of course honey, I also appreciate you opening up to me and not hiding your feelings.
- Well i didn't really plan on it.
- Okay sure i'll sign up!
- You should it's really fun and we have a great program.
- Hey! Are you signing up for basketball?
- Hey honey, how was school today?
- That's awesome! I'm so glad you have energy now.
- Really good, I signed up for basketball. I have all this energy to be used but have no way to use it so I thought basketball would be fun.
