- Good morning Franklin! Now that we're a free country, what do you want to do about slavery?

- Good morning to you too, Jefferson! I don't really know what to do about slavery. We both know that it's a bad thing and needs to be removed!!
- Benjamin Franklin, the abolitionist who also owns slaves.
- Don't they both own slaves?

- That's exactly what I'm saying! Slavery is evil and should be abolished! I even tried writing it into the Declaration of Independence!
- I even made my whole newspaper focus on abolishing slavery! These people don't know what's good for our new union. They only focus on profits!!
- Why don't they free their slaves first then?!
- You know Benjamin, I feel like we both would be great friends. We both can see what the world can't, slavery is evil.
- I totally agree with you Jefferson! Everybody who supports slavery is blind and can't see the horrors of it! We should try and educate people.
- Talking about the horrors of slavery while owning slaves? Such hypocrites! I bet they won't even free their slaves after this!!!
