- Alex walked into the parlor and caught Henry right before he was about to rape Eliza. He stopped him and challenged him to a dual but Eliza asked him not to so they didn't fight.
- Alex was delivering some bad news to Eliza's father, when she came rushing down the stairs on her way to the ballroom. Causing them to meet for the first time.
- I'm sorry sir, but I have some bad news...
- Is everything alright?
- Alex goes to meet Eliza's parents to ask them to call off Eliza and Henry's wedding. He wants to also ask for their permission to marry their daughter because he is in love with her.
- Alex thought that Eliza sent him an invitation to the ball so he gave her his handkerchief to show his love for her. But later that night it was returned to him with a note saying to meet Eliza at the barn loft but she never showed up.
- Thank you!!
- Eliza, take my handkerchief as a gift of my love for you.
- Alex and Eliza get married and spend their honeymoon with her family at their estate.
- The day after the ball, Eliza was on her way to go visit her aunt Gertrude when her carriage broke down and Alex was somehow there to help. Later she finds out that Alex knew where she was going so he was watching for her.
- Do you need help!?
- Alexander?
- I didn't even do anything to her
- Leave her alone! I challenge you to a dual.
- No Alex don't!!!
- I will call of the wedding and give you my permission to marry my daughter.
- Please call of the wedding and allow me to marry your daughter! Do I have your permission?
- Yes, I give you permission.
- Alexander you may now kiss your bride
