- WHAT IS STELLAR NUCLEOSYNTHESIS?
- Stellar Nucleosynthesis is the process which elements are formed within the stars.
- It  is the one responsible for the formation of elements from Helium (He) to Iron (Fe).
- But how does the element form in the star?
- It usesfusion to create elements in the center of the star.
- Fusion uses heat and pressureto merge smaller elements together forming the larger ones.
- Due to extremely high heat it results to the formation of heavier elements.
- Fusion continuously occur inside of stars until it reaches Iron (Fe).
- But why does it stops on the formation of Iron (Fe)?
