- On April 19 1775 British walked to lexington. The militia men were ordered to disperse when a shot rang out. The outcome was 8 militia soildrs dead 9 were wounded. the british contuined to search for arms but they relocated. The british had burned anything they found.

- Battle of Bunker Hill
- Boston was being attacked by thousands of amaerican miltia. The Bristish was trying to control ts city. They took control of two hills bunker hill and Breed's hill. THe british were led up the hill by general william Howe and the American was led by Colonel WIlliam Prescott. The bristish attacked the Americans but 276 british wer killed and 700 were wounded.

- The british army surrenderd at yorktwn. THey were very outnumberd by french and american troops. For elevn days straght the american bombarded the british, Then the british sent out the white flag for surrender. On October 19 1781 General Cornwallis signed the british surrender.
