- Hi Genesis! What courses would you be taking this semester?
- Hi, there Bryan. For this semester, I have selected Anthropology as one of my courses. Although I know little about anthropology, I'm eager to learn more about the topic.
- Anthropology studies human nature, human society, and the human past. It means to describe in the most expansive possible sense what it means to be human by which, for example, anthropologists reconstruct ways of life from traces left behind in the earth that are hundreds or thousands of years old.
- Yes, I'll gladly tell you more about what I learned.
- Hey, I'm glad we could meet. I needed to hear more about the course we discussed last time. Now that you have got a chance to learn more about anthropology this past couple of days. Could you explain what anthropology is?
