  • A. The Stamp Act was a law passed by the bitish government that required a tax on the people in the American colonies that went into a great variety of paper ducoments such as newspapers. Special stamps were to be attached to the papers and documents as proof that the tax had been paid.B. The people in the olonies were extremely angered by laws like thi getting passed when it was tax without representation. This is one of many acts that strained americans that caused the american revolution.

  • A. This law required americans living in th colonies to house and take care of bitish soldiers, they did not have a choice whether or not the soldier had to stay with them or notB. The Quartering Act helped lead to the American Revolution especially in New York where there were riots and violent acts with the british red coats and the citizens of New York.

When the colonists resisted the tax from Britiain the british sent over troops to collect the taxes themselves which further intesified the tensions between the colonies and Great Britain.
