Never Let Me Go Part 1
Storyboard Text
- A group of boys at Hailsham refuse to pick Tommy to play soccer. Kathy comes over after watching the incident and gets accidentally slapped by Tommy since he was flailing his arms.
- Tommy and Ruth are talking outside of the main house at the pond. Tommy tells Kathy about his talk with Ms. Lucy and how he doesn't need to be creative.
- Kathy, Ruth, and their friends noticed that Madame never interacted with the students. The girls tested to see if Madame was scared of them. As she walked into the school, the girls walked out and passed her. They concluded that Madame did act shy or scared when they passed her.
- One of the sales that Hailsham had so the students could but items that came from outside the campus.
- Kathy buys a chess set at a sale and Ruth tells her that she will teach Kathy how to play. She figures out that Ruth does not know how to play the game and gets angry. This causes Ruth to kick out Kathy from the secret guard.
- While Kathy is in her room listening to Never Let Me Go, she notices Madame stopped in the hall crying. Kathy assumes this is because Madame can not have babies.
