- -Light is taken in by an object and turned into another kind of energy
- -Light bounces off object
- -Light slow down and changes direction in object.
- --Light goes into an object and is split into its components by wavelength.
- -Light goes through an object.
- We see light in color depending on light frequency.Light travels to our eyes by...- traveling through space-entering and reflecting around the earth's atmosphere-entering our eyes-light is analysed by the brain.
- How we see light
- This apple looks red because all light is absorbed except for red by the apple.
- Light is an electromagnetic wave, which means that it can travel through mediums and empty space. Light's waves can be expressed as transverse waves. Transverse wave have crests, troughs, a frequency, an amplitude, and wavelengths.
- Light wave classification
- The light spectrum is separated into 7 parts (That are separate, because of their wavelengths) These parts/ wave types are-Radio waves-Micro waves-Infrared waves-visible waves-ultraviolet waves-x-rays-gamma waves
