- Your company has a policy that forbids co-workers to become romantically involved. Although, that same day, you see two of your co-workers together on a date at a restaurant.
- Your company has held several meetings about how much the company stresses this policy because of past experiences. Your boss emphasizes that if anyone sees anything, to report it.
- You are not sure whether to tell your boss about what you have seen, or to keep quiet.
- You have trouble figuring out which path to pursue in this difficult situation because you know how much the business stresses this policy , and you also understand that the two co-workers have been together for a while.
- You decide to tell you boss about the unethical behaviour you have seen outside of the workplace that goes against a valuable company role. Your boss thanks you and tells you he will handle it.

- Your boss handles it quietly and doesn't mention your name when dealing with the situation. Your are thankful of the decision you made because honesty is an important quality that you greatly value.
