Romulus and Remus
Storyboard Text
- A she wolf came down to the river to drink some water and she then finds the twins on the river in the basket. She feeds the twins her milk and protects them from danger, Until, a shepherd comes and takes them with him.
- A little later, a shepherd named, Faustulus comes across the twins and takes them home with him. He and his wife, Larentia fed and raised them to be shepherds. The boys grew up to be strong and tall, and they were well respected by the other shepherds. They would take the items that the robbers stole and give them out to the local shepherds.
- OMG! Who left these babies here!?
- One day, during the celebration of the feast of Penn, a group of robbers seeking revenge ambushed the people as they were celebrating. Romulus managed to fight his way out but Remus was captured and brought to Amulius, their evil uncle who was the King. Remus was then taken to Numitor, their grandfather for punishment. Faustulus told Romulus about his parentage and everything. Romulus gathered people to help free Remus. Remus was freed, King Amulius was killed and the crown was given back to Numitor. When Numitor dies the twins would inherit Alba Lona.
