Storyboard Text

  • Achilles, a great Greek warrior, wanted to end his inner conflict, deciding to kill Hector, the man that murdered his dear friend, Patroclus.
  • Despite the pleas from his parents, Hector stood strong and was ready fight the battle that was running towards him.
  • In seeing Achilles rush towards him, Hector began to run in fear. Achilles began to chase after him, and they went on like this for a long, long time.
  • Meanwhile, Zeus and Athene watched the whole ordeal from above. Athene favored the Greeks and begged Zeus to allow her to intervene and help Achilles.
  • Zeus agrees.
  • And so, Athene appears to Hector as one of his brothers, Deiphobus, and convinces Hector to stand his ground and fight.
  • In the end, Achilles wins and punctures the throat of Hector.
  • Hector was quite the man of honor, and with his dying breaths, begged Achilles to honor his dead body.
  • Hector, however, stripped him of his armor and tied his body to the back of a chariot to be dragged around the grounds in dishonor.
