Siddhartha Gautama was born around 500 BC in modern day Nepal. He grew up as a wealthy Hindu prince, and had all of the luxuries he desired. His father wanted Siddhartha to follow his path and become a strong ruler.
I must find the truth of Life
Siddhartha’s father shielded him from everything unpleasant because he wanted Siddhartha to follow his path and become a strong king instead of a spiritual holy man.
He saw four sights: a man bent with old age, a person afflicted with sickness, a corpse, and a wandering ascetic. This made him leave the palace to find what other unknown things he hadn't experienced.
Join my way of living
Sounds good!!!
Siddhartha began his trial for finding the truth of life and death by being an ascetics. and ascetic, you barely receive any food, shelter, water, or entertainment.
After one day, Siddhartha finally quit trying to be an ascetic and found a forest. He found a big bodhi tree and sat under it to meditate for 49 days and became enlightened.
Siddhartha left the forest and traveled to many places to share his experience with meditation and wanted people to believe in his way of living.
