- I will steal the body myself If I have to!
- After Oedipus was abandoned as a child, all because his parents were scared of a prophecy becoming true. The prophecy states that he would kill his father and marry his mother. He one day became across his father on the road and got into a serious road rage and killed him. He also defeated a sphinx and became the new King of thebes. He found out he married his mother and killed his father, and his wife killed herself and he blinded himself and let his 2 sons rule Thebes.
- I did it too, i helped her!!!!
- I caught you and i sentence you to death!!!
- The 2 brothers killed each other, their uncle Kreon became king. And all who was left was Ismene and Antigone. Kreon gave Eteocles a proper burial but not Polynieces so Antigone wants to steal the body and bury it themselves, even if she dies for it.
- Antigone stole the body and gave her brother a proper burial because she thought this was the right thing to do.
- Ismene didn't want to get caught so she didn't help Antigone. A guard caught Antigone stealing the body and told kreon. And Kreon was going to punish/kill antigone for disobeying. But Ismene also took the blame because she doesn't have any more family and does not wanna be alone.
- kreon's son, Haimon was secretly in love with Antigone but was heartbroken after his father took her away. He told his father if she died, he would too by his own hands. After he finds out that Antigone killed herself, Haimon kills himself too in hopes of meeting her in the afterlife.
- When Haimon's mother found out he killed himself, she was heartbroken and really angry with Kreon for being the reason for his death. So she killed herself too. And now Kreon has to live with and accept the fact that he was the cause of Haimon's death, his joy is now gone.
