Bud, not Buddy
Storyboard Text
- When Bud falls asleep in Mr. Lewis's car, he finds himself in a strange place with Mr. Lewis and a grown-up woman.
- Once Bud wakes up and gets dressed, he goes downstairs and explains some stuff to Mrs. Sleet's kids, Kim & Scott.
- Bud and Lefty Lewis are heading to Grand Rapids so Bud can go find Herman E. Calloway, who Bud thinks is his father.
- "I know it's you."
- Bud and Mr. Lewis get pulled over by a cop because the cop is looking for labor organizers. The cop finds nothing and continues.
- Bud finds the band all talking and laughing. He notices Herman E. Calloway is fat and bald.
- Bud confronts Herman E. Calloway, telling Herman that he is Bud's father, which is surprising news.
