First, at home Cesar Chavez felt like everyday was a fiesta. He always had fun with his brothers, sisters and cousins.

Later, when he was old enough he was tired of being treated unfairly as a migrant farmer. So he held a meeting to fight for justice. In one of those fights for justice, more people got attracted by his speeches and in one night 150 people poured into an old theather in Fresno. This was the first meeting of the National Farm Workers Association.
Next, Cesar wanted to go to the state capitol in Sacramento to receive help from the government. He went with the National Farm Workers Association They covered an average of fifteen miles per day.
Finally, they succeeded getting help from the government. The land owners vowed that they would treat them fairly. They celebrated because they got justice to be served.
