- Our fourth stop is the Economic state of the south. This is how people meet their basic needs through production, distribution, and consumption of goods/services. This includes domestic and international trade, monetary policies, and taxation.
- Interesting, but what is an example of an economic issue?
- Oh that's easy, tariffs being placed on imported goods.

- Our last topic, but not stop, is the society of the south. Two of the ways the south is “divided” is the gender and economic division. Women and Men are very separate. Women are barely allowed to do a quarter of what Men do. But men get it all. And the economic division is the rich vs the poor. The rich get whatever they want basically for free. But the poor work and work and still might not make enough money to put food on the table.

- Now, our last stop is our second talk about the society of the south. There is one more way the south is divided. And that's through ethnicity. The south relies on Slavery for the cotton business. So, we can easily assume that the south is still a little racist. The south very much wants to divide white people and black people.
- It's so sad that the south can't yet see how dehumanizing racism/slavery is.
- Yeah, but sooner or later, that will change.
