- Parvana went out to buy food for her family because they were running out of food, and mother isn't able to go outside, the Taliban caught her before she could complete her shopping so she was running away.
- Parvana, You're disguised as a boy as=well
- Shauzia?
- After the incident that happened earlier after she had ran into Mrs.Weera, she recommended that Parvana cut her hair short so she could be disguised as a boy, Parvana was against this but then went on with the idea eventually.
- SCHOOL
- Parvana was now disguised as a boy named Kaseem and took over the job Father once had to be able to make money, she goes to the market to read and writes for people who are unable to.

- Parvana then found out that one of her old classmates Shauzia was also dressed up as a boy to be able to support her family, and although they weren't very close they both were thrilled to have a friend to share their days and experiences with.
- Mrs.Weera, Mother and Nooria decide to open a small school in the building so young girls in Afghanistan are still able to learn and receive education.
- Shauzia told Parvana that she had found a better paying job for the both of them so they'd have even more money to support their families, the job was to dig and sell bones that they could find.
