  • Tony is running to the soccer ball at a 36° angle, and the ball is 13ft vertically from Tony. So using a sine equation the direct distance between Tony and the ball can be found to be 22ft.

  • Tony has kicked the ball up at a 48° angle and the ball is 23ft across from him. So using a tangent equation to find the height he kicked the ball. If I did it right the ball would be 26ft in the air.

  • It looks like she's going to pass the ball to Anton who is 14ft away. Using a Law of Sines equation we can find the angle at which he is standing between his two team mates. If done correctly the answer should be 15°.

Using a Law of Cosines equation we can find the distance from the goalie to the open spot in the goal. If completed correctly the answer will be 7ft.
