- So I made sure to listen attentively and take down notes. I also actively participated on the discussion. That’s why the test was answered by me with ease and no difficulty.
- Well I hope you learned your lesson. You should practice Comprehensive Listening so that you could become a stronger listener in the future. It would help you concentrate on important tasks. You will also be able to accomplish your goals if you learn to listen well.
- Oh, so that's why I struggled to answer. I slept during class that time and didn’t bother to listen well. When I found out we would be having a test, I did not think much of it. I decided to study only from the book thinking it was all there. The mistake of not listening attentively was made by me. I truly regret my actions.

- Wait, you read from just the book? Don’t you remember what Ms. Garcia said last meeting? She told us to listen carefully because the test would be based on the discussion we had. She clearly told us that it would contain facts and topics that won’t be found in the book. She even listed important details on the board.
- It contained questions about facts that I wasn’t aware of. I thought I’d ace it because last night, the English book was read, reviewed, and studied well by me.
