I am a basketball player myself. Training and building up our cardiovascular health is essential and extremely beneficial for basketball players. Basketball requires speed, endurance, and stamina since it is a game that involves non stop running and sprinting. These are all traits that fall under cardiovascular health. Doing exercise like running on the treadmill can be very helpful for these physical traits and will definitely boost your ability to be a great player.
One sport I've always been really interested in is basketball. I've tried it before and I am actually a pretty good player. Now that we've talked a lot, I really want to consider trying out for the school team this winter. Is cardiovascular health important and/ or helpful for basketball ?
