- Here , a kid is crying because he is having cold and he is not feeling good
- why are you crying ?
- i am having cold :( and i am not feeling good
- so his mother console him and tells him that it is just an acute disease.
- ok , sure ..
- oh dear don't cry , its just an Acute disease
- Acute disease ??? what's that ? can you explain ?
- the kid is confused that what is an Acute Disease ? so his mother explains him .
- so acute diseases are disease which comes fast and last for very less time .
- ooooo , now i understood and i'm happy !!

- Acute diseases are the diseases that last only for very short period of time . thus they do not cause long - term paitents recover completely after the cure . some examples are common cold and cough .

- Chronic disease are the disease , which last for an long time , even as much as a lifetime . they cause drastic long term effects on human health , some example are - cancer , tuberculosis (TB)
- so he is suffering from cancer and ..... ITS A CHRONIC DISEASE
