- Lana was frustrated. Her older sister, Cali, always left her baseball things all over Lana's side of the room they shared. And to add to the problem, Lana already had all her tennis things inside her room.
- Plus, the only thing of Cali's baseball things on her side of the room were some old baseball gloves from Elementary school.
- ...and the next day, it was the same thing. Lana Decided that she would confront Cali when she got home from the mall.
- Hey, Cali? I was wondering... Well,, I feel frustrated because you keep leaving your baseball things on my side, in the future, could you maybe keep your things on your side?
- Oh, Lana, I'm sorry! I didn't realize... I'll stop doing that. How about we go clean it up, and then maybe we could go for pizza or something?
- Okay, sounds great!
- Awesome!
- And so Lana and Cali cleaned up their room, and went out for pizza. Lana realized that using the I feel, when, because, in the future, so solve her problem had worked very well. She encourages you to try out the conflict resolution strategy the next time you have a conflict with someone.
