I grew up always hearing so many people say cherish every memory possible with loved ones. My grandfather who raised me would take me to work, he worked for NASA. I always had fun and made so many memories with him. This book is about one of many memories I cherished with him and I will always remember them forever. This book is an example for children to understand to cherish every little memory with your loved ones. This book is dedicated for my grandfather Gilbert Perez Dec. 9, 1937 - Jul. 6, 2020
Author's Note
There was a girl named Abby, who loved her grandpa who always made her happy.
Abby was excited for today, as she was going with grandpa to work on this beautiful day.
Grandpa drove what seemed so far, they finally came to the gate that was ajar.
Abby saw a building so very tall, it made her and grandpa feel so small.
Abby and Grandpa walked inside, and she could not believe what was nearby.
Two men standing in all white, with pumps, gloves, and helmets that covered their sight.
Abby wonders what the people in white suits do, Grandpa told Abby "They are called astronauts, like the ones who landed on the moon".
Grandpa took Abby to see one last thing, he said "It's big and white like the one in your room held by a string"
There was a shuttle black and white, Abby could not believe it with so much excite!
The End
Abby will always remember this day, because she will always cherish these memories as people say.
