- This is called Gender Inequality.
- This issue happens all around the world. Not only normal people face this even famous female athletes do too.
- Gender Inequality is major global issue which occurs in most aspects of life, but gender inequality is more evident in the sports sector. Girls are often treated as weak and useless in sports.
- Men and women are treated so differently, especially in sport. Women make up 50% of the world's population but they are not given equal opportunities.
- Women's basketball is probably so boring.
- Welcome back to the finals ofWomen'sNational Basketball Association !
- This inequality occurs not only for ordinary girls but also professional athletes. For example, 1 male American football player is paid more than 1,693 female football players.
- What should we do now?
- Let's go and play with them!
- In mostly all sports, male athletes are paid more than female athletes. This inequality occurs because of the idea that males are stronger and more superior than females.
- Women’s sports may be perceived as slower and more boring. Because of this discrimination, girls may be discouraged to pursue their passion in different sports, at a young age.
- This inequality in sport should stop. Girls and boys deserve to be treated equally in sports.
