- This is so boring
- Susan: Hey Jeremy, wanna come to a party at my place tomorrow?
- As the orientation for the McDonald's' kitchen workers come to an end, Jeremy slips his phone back into his pocket having heard very little of the training. He skips questions, wanting to get home and go out with his friends ASAP.
- Me: Ya i'd love to come over!
- Jeremy is hard at work, flipping patties, cooking fish, frying eggs and all sorts of other stuff.
- Suddenly he feels a vibration from his phone in his pocket. He looks around and sees that it's not too busy. So he checks his phone and begins walking with a basket of chicken nuggets.
- OWWWW!!!
- It's a text from Susan, she wants to know if Jeremy can come to her party tonight. Jeremy is hyped, he hasn't been to one of Susan's parties before. He starts typing back immediately.
- He continues to walk distractedly with the nuggets, still typing away. He is so distracted by the texting that he doesn't realise he forgot to put a glove on.
- He was too distracted during the training and on the job that he forgot what he had been taught, in the process getting a nasty oil burn.
