- Oh look!!! The Indus River flooded our crops again! Good thing we built all these drains and dams to control the water so our crops aren’t actually flooded!
- I know right? We’re never going to have to move! This place is so amazing!
- 2500 BCE
- Monsoons are getting less intense and our irrigation is drying up!
- Don’t worry. It’s just this year. Our crops are still going to thrive next year!
- Our agriculture is dying… We’re suffering from starvation too. We might have to move. We can’t risk our lives for the drought anymore.
- Yeah, let’s move to the Himalayas. Its winter monsoons will provide us adequate rainfall
- We migrated all the way here, but I guess the foothills of the Himalayas dried up too… I don’t know what to do anymore.. Let’s just go back and pray for our fate.
- We don’t have the power nor the energy to fight back…
