- Keep building! Don't stop or your food rations will be less than before. I am only not building because we the pigs are too smart to work labor.
- Now that Napoleon is the leader of animal farm, the other animals have to say in what happens. If Napoleon wants to make a trade, than they make a trade. This is all through propaganda. Napoleon uses squealer, the propaganda pig to trick all the other stupid animals that the pigs are so smart that they cannot be doing hard work. He also uses squealer to change the commandments in the way that the pigs want. This is shown multiple times through-ought the novel.

- Napoleon has taken full control of the farm. At this point, the living conditions of the animals is worse them with Jones. They are being starved, whipped, and they have to work like slaves just to keep the pigs satisfied. Squealer has gotten so fat, when he struggles to open his eyes from all the fat surrounding them. The old commandments that used to be in place to keep all animals to be equal, have gotten so simplified over the years it was changed to, "All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."
