- Romeo tells Tybalt he doesn't want to fight, but Mercutio is willing to fight for him.

- Romeo tries to break apart Mercutio and Tybalt.
- Act Three Scene 1
- Tybalt stabs under Mercutio's arm.
- Act Three Scene 1
- Mercutio makes jokes/insults towards Tybalt, even though he is dying.
- Romeo and Tybalt duel, because Tybalt killed his best friend.
- Romeo kills Tybalt.
