Storyboard Text
- A terrible disease is running through the city killing many people and it is known as The Red Death. Prince Prospero decides to escape the city to avoid the plague.
- I need to escape the disease!
- In this scene the Prince is taking his friends to the safety of his castle. It is described that the castle has "all the appliances of pleasure" and "without was the red death"
- Come to safety in the castle!!
- In this scene the party-goers are dancing and enjoying their time until they notice the menacing clock chimes that sends feelings of fright down their spines.
- that clock is menacing!
- We're all safe in here, the disease can't touch us.
- Don't go in that room it's evil!
- In this scene there is a person saying not to go into the black room. The reason the person says this is because the other rooms are colorful and bright but this room is dark, ominous, and "gives off bad vibes".
- "Who dares insult us with blasphemous mockery?"
- In this scene the masked man is discovered by the Prince and party-goers, the man is then chased down by the prince and the guests gather around the two.
- In the end they couldn't escape me.
- In this scene the story ends with all of the guests dying from the plague because the masked man brought the "Red Death". The masked man represents the disease, but the man does not actually exist. He is a personification of the disease.
