I act as a B cell surface receptor for antigens secreted early in primary response." - IgM "I am most abundant immunoglobin in the blood plasma." - IgG "I am produced by plasma cells in the digestive, respiratory and urinary systems, where I protect the surface linings by preventing attachment of bacteria to surfaces of epithelial cells." - IgA "I activates mast cells and leads to the production of histamine responsible for allergic reactions, such as hay fever and asthma."
