- Fossils help tell the story of geologic history and evolution on Earth because all fossils tell stories.
- When scientists find fossils, scientists can learn very valuable information about what organisms were on the Earth many years ago, and also what organisms are now extinct on Earth. Without scientists finding fossils, we would not know as much information about the story and evolution of the Earth as we do today.
- That makes so much sense! Fossils are so helpful! But, are there different types of Fossils, and if so, how are they made?
