- Main issue in the Constitution Convention There were many issues in the Constitutional Convention. The one that caused the most problems and was the biggest one was the issue of there not being a fair representation of the smaller states with the amount of representatives. This is because the amount of representatives was based on the population and so the larger states with the larger populations were getting more power in the government than the smaller ones.

- How about we make 2 branches with one having the same number of representatives no matter the population and one with the population in mind.
- Smaller States need more representation!!!
- The bigger states get more representation.

- Smaller issues in the Constitutional Convention There were also not only issues in power but issues in laws such as slavery. The issue with slavery was if it counted towards population, tax, and other minor things. There was also issues with how people felt about the executive branch because they felt that one person should not have that much power nor did they feel safe with the power that the job holds.
