Monkey's Paw
Storyboard Text
- Tom was visiting his grandmother's grave when he noticed a monkey paw on another gravestone. Thinking it was strange and interesting he picked up the paw and started to walk home, but on the way he realized that the paw he could be holding might be the same paw that his great grandfather told stories about throughout the generations.
- When he came home he told his wife Clara about the Monkey Paw and the history behind it. Clara thought it was stupid and jokingly said to wish for clothes like her sister's since they're much nicer than hers. So, Tom ignorantly wished despite the warnings his grandfather's stories told him.
- Nothing happened until a few days later. Clara was coming home when she found an unmarked package at the front of Tom and Her's doorstep, she brought it inside and asked Tom if he ordered any packages. Tom shook his head no and they both became confused of the package.
- Clara opened the box only to reveal that it contained some clothes in it, clothes exactly like her sister's. But Tom and Clara noticed that there were bloodstains on the them. Uncomfortable, Clara put the clothes back away and stored the box away. A few hours later Clara's mom came to the house weeping while saying that Clara's sister is missing.
- Clara cried to Tom about her sister's disappearance, Tom's expression of sadness slowly turned into horror after realizing what exactly was in the package. Tom mumbled out that this was the paw's doing and Clara sobbed even more. Later that night, Clara demanded that Tom wish her sister to be found and Tom hesitantly did so.
- A day later Clara's mom came to the house sobbing, she managed to mumble something of Clara's sister being found dead. Clara stood there in disbelief and soon sobbed with her mom. Weeks later the funeral was planned and they all weeped next to the grave of Clara's sister. Tom could only think of how he should have never brought that paw home.
