Odysseus attempts the task to thread the bow and shoot an almost impossible shot to get to Penelope. He accomplishes this task and goes on his way to meet Penelope.

Athena made Odysseus extremely attractive and gets him ready to meet Penelope.
Book 23
Odysseus was told that someone moved his bed and he knew that his bed could not be moved. He is the one who built the bed and he is one of the only people that have seen it.

Penelope realizes Odysseus is truly who he says he is when he tells her the details about the bed.
She then runs into Odysseus arms and gives him a kiss telling him to not scorn her.
Odysseus then wept in his wife's arms, crying only happy tears.
